At approximately 6:45a.m. Nov. 6, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a two vehicle crash on FM 92 in Tyler County. The crash occurred in front of the post office in Fred, Texas.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 2009 Toyota passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on FM 92. The driver of the Toyota crossed the center dividing line and collided head-on with a 2013 Kia passenger vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota, 25-year-old Trevor Stephenson Gray of Vidor, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Kia, 28-year-old Danielle Anders Clark of Hemphill, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries. Clark’s two children, ages 3 and 9 years of age, were also transported to St. Elizabeth hospital. The 9-year-old child sustained minor injuries. The 3-year-old child was properly secured in a car seat and did not have any visible injuries, but was transported for observational purposes.
