Two doughnut shops in Orange have been hit by burglars in five days. Detectives are looking for any crumbs of evidence to catch the crooks.
Early Wednesday morning, employees at the Donut Palace, 5603 North 16th Street, discovered the break-in when they arrived for work. Workers at the Donut Hole, 1613 North 16th Street, found a broken glass door when they arrived at work.
Also, car burglars have struck again in the Little Cypress area. Tuesday morning two car burglaries were reported on Armitage Road off Highway 87, and one on Tall Oak Street in the Woodmont subdivision off Meeks Drive.
Detective Captain Robert Enmon said all the vehicles had been left unlocked.
