Orange police found amphetamines, marijuana, and synthetic marijuana at a house in Greenway Park when they had a search warrant. They arrested 39-year-old Kendrick Lloyd Jones of Orange. He faces a third degree felony charge for the amphetamines, plus two Class B misdemeanor charges for the marijuana and synthetic marijuana.
Police went to the house in the 3900 block of North Eddie Street at 8:10 a.m. Friday. Jones was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail.
Employees at the City of Orange Animal Shelter, 806 Simmons Drive, discovered two dog were missing on Friday morning. Orange Detective Captain Robert Enmon said a side gate was bent to allow entrance. He said the owner of the dogs is suspected and detective have been trying find him to talk with him.
A post office employee found a surprise in a mail box Friday and reported it to police. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said what looks like marijuana was in a baggie in the mailbox. The find was on Beagle Road in the Hi Ho addition.
