Hope everyone’s Easter was as good as mine. Let’s see what has been going on.
We reached our goal of $5000.00 to pay our K-9 Bruce’s medical bills. What a great turn out for his fund raiser fish fry. Thanks goes out to all who supported us. Special thanks to Commissioner Tick Fomby and Commissioner Phillip White for frying the fish. Also, thanks go out to everyone who helped serve.
A young boy robbed his piggy bank to help pay Bruce’s medical bills. Choked me up when his mom told me that. Dylan Gilley, you are my newest hero and little buddy!
We received a 911 call about a motorcycle accident on Hwy 1416 near Bon Wier. The driver was killed in the accident. Please remember the Collins family (from Deweyville) in your prayers.
Received a call where 3 power saws were stolen from a shed near Bon Wier. Also, a set of side by side tires were taken. Any help would be appreciated.
A man remodeling a house in the Burkeville area. When he went to work one day everything was gone. Toilet, cabinet doors, flooring, ceiling tiles and other items were all stolen. Let us know if you hear anything on this theft.
