The Orange City Council runoff election has drawn a total of 246 voters in the first four days of early voting. Runoff Election Day is Saturday, June 15.

The Orange County Elections Administration released the totals for after the voting site closed Thursday afternoon. Totals for the individual single-member districts are: District 1–20, District 2–83, District 3–40, and District 4–95.

One runoff is for At-Large Position 5 and all registered city votes can cast a ballot. Incumbent Bill Mello is facing challenger Caroline Mazzola Hennigan.

In the Single-Member District 4 runoff, only voters who live within the district can vote. Incumbent Annette Pernell is running against Mary McKenna, who has previously held the seat.

Hennigan and McKenna led the voting in their elections, but neither received more than 50 percent because of other candidates in the races. City charter requires a runoff if a candidate does not have 50 percent. More than 1,200 people voted in the May 4 election.

Early voting is at the Orange Public Library and will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Monday. Extended hours will be on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
