The Texas Comptroller’s Office has sent monthly payments to the entities covering sales for April. Some have had increases in the monthly sales compared to the month in 2018, but are still down for the year to date.
The payments are:
Bridge City (1.5 percent tax): $133,630 for the month compared to $144,185 for April 2018, a decrease of 7.32 percent. $892,378 for the year to date compared to $912,306 for 2018, a decrease of 2.18 percent.
Orange (1.5 percent tax): $472,695 for the month compared to $416,629 for April 2018, an increase of 13.45 percent. $2.6 million for the year to datee compared to $2.8 milion in 2018, a decrease of 6.93 percent.
Pinehurst (1.5 percent tax): $58,266 for the month compared to $57,775 for April 2018, an increase of 0.85 percent. $351,270 for the year to date compared to $358,502 for 2018, a decrease of 2 percent.
Vidor (1.5 percent tax): $271,414 for the month compared to $229,155 for April 2018, an increase of 18.44 percent. $1.57 million for the year to date compared to $1.53 million for 2018, an increase of 2.65 percent.
West Orange (1.25 percent tax): $91,172 for the month compared to $89,395 for April 2018, an increase of 1.98 percent. $584,663 for the year to date compared to $652,180 for 2018, a decrease of 10.35 percent.
Orange County (0.5 percent tax): $559,208 for the month compared to $459,054 for April 2018, an increase of 21.81 percent. $2.78 million for the year to date compared to $2.9 million for 2018, a decrease of 0.19 percent.
Orange County Emergency Services District 3 (Little Cypress Fire) (1.5 percent tax): $14,179 for the month compared to $13,322 for April 2018, an increase of 6.42 percent. $86,868 for the year to date compared to $96,719 for 2018, a decrease of 10.18 percent.
