The annual Labor Day Senior Citizens Picnic was held Monday. The event was held at the Family Life Center on 41st Street.
Pinehurst Fire Chief Shon Branham led the entertainment for the event. Joining Branham in singing to the appreciative audience were Pinehurst Mayor Pro-Temp Dan Mohon and Crystal Wells who is a member of the Pinehurst Volunteer Fire Department.
Several great door prizes were given to visitors to the picnic. The big winners were Mark Simmons of a 50-inch television donated by First Financial Bank, Jimmie Simmons and Dale Weatherford both won beautiful rocking chairs. Food for the event was provided by Robert’s Restaurant in Pinehurst.
