A man trying to steal breakfast sausage in his pants ended up being arrested for a felony warrant and drug paraphernalia after police found a glass pipe in his pockets.
Police reported 57-year-old Charles Edward Declouet was stopped at the store. He had an arrest warrant for felony theft issued out of the 260th District Court.
The arresting officer found the glass pipe in his pants pocket and it appeared to have been used to smoke methamphetamine. Declouet is also facing a Class B misdemeanor for the pipe.
A gun was fired during a domestic fight, but no one was injured. A woman called police at 12:26 a.m. to report the incident and said she would pursue charges.
Also on Friday morning at 10, a man and a woman went to the police station to report they were robbed by someone with a firearm.
A woman called police at 10:46 a.m. Friday from the Country Store at 7411 Interstate 10. The 45-year-old woman said she had a date, but he stole her purse and left her at the store.
On Saturday, police went to the Value Inn, 4407 27th Street, after two vehicles in the parking lot were damaged.
A resident in the 2500 block of Champion Drive in the Country Club Estates subdivision reported property was missing from his vehicle.
And a man reported that his bank card had been used without his permission to make purchases and withdraw cash.
