The Sabine River Authority Monday morning has opened 11 gates two feet each at Toledo Bend Reservoir The lake level at 4 a.m. was 172.81. Federal regulations require gates to open at 172.5 feet.
One generator is working and the is currently down. With the gates and one generator, the dam is releasing a total 28,225 cubic feet of water per second.
The Sabine River at Deweyville this morning is slightly below flood level at 23.8 feet.
