• Orange County Emergency Management has called a mandatory evacuation for everyone north of Interstate 10 and east of Texas Highway 87.
• A Red Cross shelter will be set up at North Orange Baptist Church, 4775 16th Street in Orange. People needing transportation to the shelter need to call 409-745-9762.
• In the city of Orange, a voluntary evacuation is still in effect for the Cove neighborhood and everything south of Interstate 10 and east of 10th Street and Bob Hall Road.
• The city of West Orange has a voluntary evacuation for the area south of Western Avenue and east of Dayton Street. Those are houses near Adams Bayou.
• The city of Pinehurst has a voluntary evacuation for low-lying areas along Adams Bayou.
• The city of Orange has closed the boat ramp area and no one is allowed past Simmons Drive. Sandbags are now at Memorial Field and the water plant in the 1400 block of Link Avenue (across from old Jones School.)
• The Orange County Courthouse and administration building closed at noon and will be closed until further notice. The Vidor sub-courthouse will be open for business for license plates and taxes.
• The city of Orange will close city hall, the public library and municipal court on Tuesday until further notice.
• The city of Orange has canceled the Saturday music festival at the Riverfront Pavilion.
Lamar State College-Orange campus will be closing Monday, March 14 at 3:00 p.m. and remain closed for the remainder of the week. Anticipated date to reopen is Monday, March 21.
Orange County Adult Probation offices will be closing at noon on Monday 3/14/16 and will remain closed through Friday 3/18/16
