Sales taxes have been flat across Orange County so far during calendar year 2016. Cities and the county are at about the same income as in 2015, based on the latest payments from the state comptroller’s office. The December payments cover the month of October.
The payments this month are:
Bridge City: $118,895 for the month; $1,552,791 for the year to date.
Orange: $283,416 for the month; $4,025,222 for the year to date.
Pinehurst: $42,815 for the month; $614,931 for the year to date.
Vidor: $179,423 for the month; $2,592,111 for the year to date.
West Orange: $89,711 for the month; $1,147.163 for the year to date.
Orange County: $337,565 for the month; $4,746,163 for the year to date.
The Orange County Emergency Services District No. 3 (Little Cypress): $14,841 for the month; $338,173 for the year to date.
