A man and woman were injured Tuesday when their car ran off the roadway of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and hit a guardrail. Orange police report the guardrail kept the car from going into a ditch.
The crash was about 12:30 p.m. in the 7600 block of MLK near First Baptist Church. Police said the Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound and left the roadway to the east. It crossed over the shoulder and hit the metal guardrail.
The driver was listed as 65-year-old Theadore Lee Follie of Pinehurst and the passenger was 54-year-old Linda Willams. Both were taken by Acadian Ambulance Service to the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
