The Orange Fired Dept. received a 911 call Friday morning at 9:18am for a fire at Popeye’s on Link Ave.
Battalion Chief Joe Mires said the grease fire was put out quickly but that equipment damage forced the store to close.
No injuries were reported.
Repairs and inspections will have to be made before the store can reopen.
