On Saturday, September 7 a home on Carpenter Road in Victory Gardens (off Hwy 87, between BC and Orange) was burglarized. A neighbor spoke to two individuals who said they worked for the home owner but the two left in a hurry after the conversation.
Cameras captured the vehicle license plate and the male and female occupants of the vehicle.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the West Orange address the gold 2005 four door Buick was registered to and identified the two subjects as 36 year old Jessica Bartz and 26 year old Cody Wiley.
Property was observed inside the vehicle but it was not known at that point if the property was actually stolen or not. Wiley was arrested on warrants. Bartz and Wiley have NOT been arrested for this burglary but are considered persons of interest, along with a few other individuals.
The homeowner stated a variety of items were stolen including a guitar, musical equipment, jewelry (necklaces made from coins), cameras, electronic equipment and items of main concern were family photos.
