On Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 01:16 am, a Vidor PD patrol unit equipped with a License Plate Reader was notified of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle a 2012 Kia Soul was reported stolen out of Calcasieu Parish, LA. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle on the WB Service Road of IH-10 near N. Main Street. The vehicle failed to yield and began to pick up speed and re-entered IH-10 WB. The vehicle continued Westbound IH-10 at speeds in excess of 100 MPH. The vehicle exited IH-10 in Beaumont traveling down North and Magnolia Street before re-entering IH-10 WB. The vehicle went north on HWY 69 with speeds still in excess of 100 MPH. The vehicle exited HWY 69 in Hardin County before coming to a stop at the dead end of Hickory Hollow.
The occupants were taken into custody without further incidents. The occupants are identified as Tiffany Michelle Jeanise, 31, of Vinton, charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence. Robert Hebert, 47, of Lake Arthur, La. charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth) PG 1 <1 Gram, Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence. Both were taken to the OC Jail.
